This privacy policy sets out the privacy practices regarding our use of your information (hereinafter the “Privacy Policy“) in connection with the provision of the Services and your access to and use of the C4 PROTECTION Platform accessible via the following hyperlink: [https://protectionc4.com] and aims in particular to inform you about:
- What personal information we collect from you;
- How we use your information and with whom we may share it;
- What choices are available to you regarding the collection, use and distribution of information;
- What types of security procedures are in place to protect your information from loss, misuse or alteration of information under our control;
- How you can correct inaccurate information.

Security
We know how important your personal information is to you and we take our responsibility to protect any information you provide to us very seriously. In order to protect any personally identifiable information we collect, we have implemented physical, electronic and administrative measures to prevent unauthorized access to or disclosure of your information.
Cyberswat maintains secure data networks protected by industry-standard firewalls and strong password and authentication access systems. We have EDR/XDR anti-virus software and regularly update it in accordance with industry standards. Only authorized individuals have access to and/or have the right to disclose information provided by you in connection with your use of the C4 PROTECTION Platform. Such authorized individuals are aware of this Privacy Policy and will use your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Although we take all reasonable steps to protect the personally identifiable information you share with us, no transmission of information over the Internet can be 100% guaranteed and electronically stored information is never completely safe from attack and therefore we cannot guarantee the security of the information you provide to us.
Your Personal Information
In order to better understand and meet the needs of Users of the C4 PROTECTION Platform, Cyberswat may collect your data as well as information that personally identifies you. Personally identifiable information is information that identifies or contacts you. In particular, when Cyberswat opens a Client Account for the Client, Cyberswat may collect the following information identifying each of the Client’s Authorized Representatives:
- Name and surname;
- Email;
- Phone number;
- The IP address.
In addition, Cyberswat may collect the following information about your use of the C4 PROTECTION Platform:
- The date and place of use;
- Frequency of use;
- Average duration of use;
- The IP address(es) of the devices you use to connect.
Cyberswat may also collect any other information about you from its third party service providers and partners, including those who have entered into a service agreement with Cyberswat for the C4 PROTECTION Platform. Cyberswat may collect information that you provide when you use the C4 PROTECTION Platform.
How We Use Your Information
Cyberswat may use your personally identifiable information in several ways:
We use your information for the purposes of your access to and use of the C4 PROTECTION Platform and the provision of the Services and to enable us to create the Client Account, register Authorized Representatives therein and to verify, without obligation from Cyberswat, the identity of Authorized Representatives for security, statistical and marketing purposes and to optimize the features and modules of the C4 PROTECTION Platform.
In addition, we generally use your information to enable us to operate the C4 PROTECTION Platform. Cyberswat may engage external companies to provide services on its behalf (e.g. hosting the C4 PROTECTION Platform or analyzing data). We may provide your personally identifiable information to such service providers so that they may perform such services, and you agree that Cyberswat may share such information for such purposes.
We may also disclose your personally identifiable information if we believe we need to do so by law; to comply with legal process or governmental request; to enforce Cyberswat’s C4 PROTECTION Platform Terms of Use; and/or to protect Cyberswat’s rights, property, or safety, its Users or the public. As part of a business transaction, Cyberswat may transfer or otherwise disclose your personal information in connection with a merger, sale, consolidation or other corporate change without your consent. If applicable, any notice will be sent in the form and within the time limits set out in the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (CQLR, c. P-39.1).
Access and Change to Personal Information
Personal information obtained in connection with your use of the C4 PROTECTION Platform will be stored in secure locations and on servers and/or services controlled by Cyberswat which are located either at Cyberswat’s offices or at the offices of its third party service providers.
The Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (CQLR, c. P-39.1) establishes the terms and conditions for access as well as the procedures for exercising certain rights, including the right to rectification, deletion, oblivion and portability. Any request under such Act will be made in writing to the person responsible for the protection of personal information by one of two means:

Your Information and the C4 PROTECTION Platform
It may be necessary to provide us with personal information to visit the C4 PROTECTION Platform. To this end, we may collect personally identifying information about our Users at various points on the C4 PROTECTION Platform, including when opening a Customer Account with your Access to the C4 PROTECTION Platform. If you choose to provide us with information about yourself, we may provide you with information about products, services and/or events that may be of interest to you.
When we open a Customer Account, we may request certain information about you in order for you to be registered and designated as an Authorized Customer Account Representative.
Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to any information you may provide publicly through the C4 PROTECTION Platform, if applicable. Keep in mind that whenever you publicly disclose information about yourself online, that information may be collected and used by people you do not know. We will not be liable for any actions or policies of any third parties that collect any information that Users may have disclosed through the C4 PROTECTION Platform or other public sites.
Cookies and Web Beacons
The C4 PROTECTION Platform may from time to time use cookies and other similar technologies to better recognize you when you return to the C4 PROTECTION Platform. A cookie is a small data file stored on a User’s device by a web server. Cookies are used to help us identify you when you return to the C4 PROTECTION Platform to tailor the information you receive when you browse the C4 PROTECTION Platform. You are still free to refuse cookies if your device allows it, but doing so may prevent you from accessing certain parts of the C4 PROTECTION Platform.
Our web pages or email messages may contain small graphic images called “web beacons” (also sometimes called a “pixel tag”) that allow us to track and collect certain limited information about our Users on the C4 PROTECTION Platform, such as the type of device requesting the web beacon, the IP address of the device to which the web beacon is transmitted, and when the web beacon was viewed. Web beacons may be invisible to the user but, in general, any electronic image viewed as part of a web page or email, including HTML content, may act as a web beacon. We may use web beacons to count the number of visitors to our web pages or track the browsing habits of our users on the C4 PROTECTION Platform, and we may include web beacons in emails to count how many messages were actually opened or elicited a reaction. We use web beacons to compile a set of statistics about the C4 PROTECTION Platform.
Other Data Collection
When you visit the C4 PROTECTION Platform, we may collect and store in log files certain non-personally identifiable information such as: the domain name, the host from which you access the Internet (e.g. aol.com or unh.edu), the browser software you use and your operating system, the date and time you access the C4 PROTECTION Platform, the Internet address of the website from which you connected to the C4 PROTECTION Platform, the website you visit when you leave the C4 PROTECTION Platform and the number of “clicks” you have made on the C4 PROTECTION Platform. We collect this information to analyze trends, administer the C4 PROTECTION Platform, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. We may also determine the technology available through your browser in order to serve you the most appropriate version of the C4 PROTECTION Platform. We may also use the information collected about our Users to provide tailored content, advertising, products and services or to improve content, navigation on the C4 PROTECTION Platform or for any other internal purposes.
Conservation
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, subject to the policies of Cyberswat’s third-party service providers. Thereafter, personal information will be destroyed in a secure and confidential manner. For example, if the Service Agreement terminates and the Customer no longer retains Cyberswat Services, the Authorized Representatives’ personal information will be destroyed as soon as possible after the end of the Service Agreement.
Your Choices Regarding Disclosure and Changes to Your Personal Information
If you do not want your personally identifiable information to be used as described in this Privacy Policy, please cease your access to and use of the C4 PROTECTION Platform and/or request that your name be removed from the list of Authorized Customer Representatives so that your personal information no longer appears in the Customer Account.
Notice of changes
Cyberswat reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. Only the current Privacy Policy, as established on the C4 PROTECTION Platform, will be deemed effective. By using the C4 PROTECTION Platform, and/or providing us with your personal information, you consent and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and any amendments made through your continued use.
Children’s privacy
The PROTECTION C4 Platform is not designed for children. In order to protect children’s personal information, we do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children 13 years of age or younger. For this purpose, any Authorized Representative must be at least fourteen (14) years of age in accordance with the Terms of Use.

The C4 PROTECTION Platform may contain links to sites not affiliated with Cyberswat. Cyberswat is not responsible for the privacy practices of any other entities or their websites and/or mobile applications.
